Dr. Andrea McKinney

Dr. Andrea McKinney is not only a Washington State native, but a third-generation optometrist, continuing the tradition of her father and grandfather who both practiced optometry in Washington State.  Dr. McKinney graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Biology from San Diego State University and earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. McKinney’s patients appreciate her careful attention to detail and thoroughness of her examinations.  She has an easy-going and positive attitude that both patients and staff appreciate.  Dr. McKinney serves her patients by providing comprehensive eye care, and also has a special interest in co-management of eye surgery and primary eye care.

When Dr. McKinney is not in the office seeing patients, we find her either bicycling or hiking in the north Cascades during our beautiful summer months.  She also enjoys flower gardening in her Seattle yard.  Once the snow comes, Dr. Mckinney can be found on the slopes snowboarding with family and friends.
